Yes, you can continue to use your existing provider for sending customer emails. Prospects and customers for whom you do not have an email address for can be contacted via 4Cite.How does 4Cite have access to so many Opt-in email addresses?
Our data repository is populated with feeds from thousands of merchants and other reputable organizations that have received opt-in permission to share their email information with us. All subscriptions are compliant with the CAN-SPAM ACT of 2003 and we provide an opt-out link on every email broadcast.How is using 4Cite to send emails to customers different from just appending email addresses to my customer file?
Appending email addresses to your database has several drawbacks.- It requires you to send an initial "permission" giving consumers the option of choosing never to hear from you again. Utilizing our email repository, we already have permission to email the consumer and if they do indeed decide to opt-out, that only precludes us emailing them in the future. You can still email them as you come across their names again.
- Email addresses age and become obsolete. Even the addresses you currently have on file are subject to this deterioration. Our database is continually updated, validated, and tested. As a result, we often have the most current addresses available.
- What about your prospect universe? It is not feasible from an expense or timeliness perspective to append email addresses to prospect names. Our database, on the other hand, allows us to provide a quick and inexpensive way to deploy email campaigns for prospects.
We are worried about our email reputation, what can 4Cite do to ensure that emailing prospects doesn't have a negative impact on us?
We have you covered. The prospect email campaigns will be sent from our servers, using our IP addresses. The consumer perception will be that they come from you but in reality, it is our reputation on the line. Any negative feedback from the ISP's and other watchdog groups will be directed towards us. Consumers that have opted-in to our database have given us permission to send them offers of products and services from 3rd party marketers. Our solution is compliant with the CAN-SPAM act of 2003 and meets all regulatory privacy standards.How can you tell who is visiting our website?
Our technology uses Cookie placement and various other techniques to identify web visitors. These data points are compared against our internal data repository and, when a match is found, we can return the associated opt-in email address. CiteBase™ is designed to provide an additional source of prospect names for catalogers. Co-op databases will still have a place in your campaigns but you may find that CiteBase™ offers similar performance at a much lower cost.Can I still belong to the co-operative databases I'm a member of now?
